Your Base Pay
Operations roles starts at a minimum of €16.45 per hour and goes up to €19.08 per hour depending on your shift.
Add-ons that bump-up your pay
At Amazon, overtime and night shifts* are paid extra.
When working overtime*, you earn between €24.67 per hour and €32.09 per hour (depending on the weekly volume of extra hours conducted).
At Amazon, regular attendance and loyalty pay off. After 36 months’ tenure, your base pay increases. Regular attendance can also translate into bonuses.
*Overtime rates and night shift allowance are subject to change at Amazon’s discretion.

At Amazon, we recognise that all our employees have different schedules and responsibilities. That is why we strive to offer multiple types of contracts and working hours that allow you to balance work and life.
A standard contract includes a fixed 40 hours per week, but you can also choose to work part-time. Traditionally, shifts are 4 x 10 hour days. We propose fixed shift patterns, for example from Monday to Thursday.
If you need flexibility or a permanent change, you can either swap shifts online or request a permanent change in your schedule.
The flexibility of our shift patterns helps us improve our ability to provide fast delivery for our customers and gives employees less commuting time and more days in the week for free time and social activities. In addition, we offer paid time off – annual leave is up to 5 weeks plus bank holidays.
Maternity and paternity leave is offered, depending on tenure. You can also take unpaid leave to look after your child’s welfare.
