My account
I already have an account, why do I need to create a PIN?
We've made some improvements to our sign-in process to offer you a better candidate experience. Creating a PIN allows you to access new features. Please make sure you check your spam folder.
I forgot my PIN, how do I get a new one?
Don’t worry, we can help you create a new one quickly. Please follow the steps below:
- Go to jobs.amazon.ie/app#/forgotpin
- Enter the email address that you used to create your account
- We’ll send a verification code to the email address you entered, please check your inbox to retrieve it (if you didn’t receive it, make sure you check your spam folder)
- Enter this code into the verification code box in your browser.
- Enter a new PIN and click "Update".
You're done. You can go back to the log-in screen and log in to your account using your email address and new PIN.
I don't have an email address. Can I create an account using my phone number?
At this time, Amazon jobs only supports sign-in using a valid email address.
What information or features can I access with my account?
You can use your Amazon jobs account to access your profile and check the information and status of all your applications.
My application
What is my application status?
You can check the status of your application by following these steps.
- Login to your candidate account
- Click on the menu icon in the top left-hand corner, or on "My Account" in the top right-hand corner
- Click on 'My Jobs' from the dropdown menu
- You will see your appointment details under each job
My application status hasn't changed. Who can I contact for an update?
Your dashboard is regularly being updated to display the most recent status of each application. When an application status changes, your dashboard is updated in almost real-time to reflect this new status. If it hasn’t changed, we’re still processing your application. For further questions, please contact us.
What does it mean when my application status is withdrawn?
An application has an active status when it is pending a decision. The status can change to withdrawn for a number of reasons: if you have requested your application do be withdrawn, if you have been hired for a role at Amazon, or if you are no longer under consideration.
What is your hiring process?
Who will I be employed by if my application is successful?
Depending on the job you applied for, you will be employed by Amazon directly or a hiring agency.
When can I start working once I have applied?
Most of our jobs have immediate starts. You also have the possibility to select from a range of available start dates.
What happens after I submit my application?
You will receive a response within 24-36 hours. Communications will be sent over email with links and instructions to the next step of the process.
Do I need to submit a CV with my application?
No. Amazon no longer asks for CVs during the application process for these roles.

What ‘Right to Work’ documents do I need to attach to my application?
IMPORTANT – Bring Your Right to Work Documents to Your Video Call
To avoid delays in your application, please make sure you have your Right to Work documents with you during your video call (not just uploaded).
If you do not have your original documents with you at the time of your interview, we will not be able to complete your verification, and this may delay your hiring process

Accepted Right to Work Documents
EU/Irish Citizens – Provide ONE of the following:
- Passport book or card showing EU/Irish citizenship
- Irish birth or adoption certificate and valid photo ID
- Irish naturalisation certificate
UK Citizens – Provide ONE of the following:
- Valid UK passport
- UK birth, adoption, or naturalisation certificate and a government-issued document with your name and National Insurance Number (e.g. tax or benefits letter, payslip)
Non-EU Citizens – Provide ONE of the following combinations:
- Passport with stamp and valid work permit
- Passport, Irish Residence Permit (IRP), stamp, and work permit
- Passport and Working Holiday Authorisation
- Letter from the Department of Justice and Equality (DJE) and Temporary Residence Certificate (TRC Card)
Make sure your documents are original and valid on the day of your video call.

How do I upload documents and photos in my Candidate Account?
Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Look Out for Your EDM Email Invitation
Once your first appointment is scheduled, you will receive an automated email from the EDM system.
- This email will include a link to access the EDM portal.
- Click the link to authenticate and log in.

2. Accessing the EDM Portal
Once logged in:
- Click on “Document Collection Request”.
- If this is your first time accessing the portal, you’ll need to verify your email address and create a password.
3. Choose Your Preferred Language
You can change the interface language in the portal settings.

4. Upload Required Documents
Once logged in:
- Click the “Upload” button or drag your files into the upload area.
- Fields marked with a red asterisk (*) are mandatory.
- Ensure documents are clear, up-to-date, and legible.
- Supported file formats: .TIF, .PNG, .PDF
5. Uploading Multiple Files
You can select and upload several documents at once for faster completion.
6. Save and Finalise Your Uploads
- First, click “Save Uploads” to save your files.
- Once all required documents are uploaded, the “Finalise Uploads” button will turn blue.
- Click it to complete the upload process.
7. Email Notifications for Missing or Rejected Documents
- If a document is missing or doesn’t meet guidelines, you will get an email notification asking you to re-upload.
- Check your inbox regularly.
8. Reminders
- If you haven’t submitted all mandatory documents, you will receive automatic reminder emails.
- You cannot finalise your uploads until everything required is submitted.
9. Having Technical Issues?
- Try refreshing the page or logging out and back in.
- If issues continue (e.g. you can’t see or upload documents), contact the support team for help.

My appointment
How do I reschedule my pre-hire appointment?
To reschedule your appointments, please proceed as follows:
- Log in to your candidate account at jobs.amazon.ie/app#/login
- Click the menu icon in the top left-hand corner
- Select ‘My Jobs’
- You can click ‘Edit’ next to your chosen pre-hire appointment
- Reschedule your appointment to another time
- Click ‘Cancel Appointment’
I cannot attend my Onboarding/Day 0, what should I do?
Please let us know by reaching out to the email/phone number available in your Day 0 confirmation email or contact us here.
I had a start date appointment in the past, but could not attend and need to reschedule.
Your start date is your day 0 date after you've already attended your pre-hire appointment. In order to reschedule your start date appointment, please contact us.

When will I sign my contract?
If your application is successful, we will send your contract of employment, which you will be able to review and sign electronically. Your employment is subject to a number of conditions, including evidence of your right to work in ROI.

How do I set up and use Amazon Chime?
To attend your video interview with Amazon, you’ll need to use the Amazon Chime app. Follow these steps for a smooth experience:

Choose your device and download the app:

Step 2: Set Up Your Account
- Sign in using an email linked to your Amazon shopping account (Amazon.com).
- Don’t have one? You can create a free account — no payment info needed.
Step 3: Join Your Interview
- Tap the Chime meeting link in your appointment confirmation email.
- Make sure to allow camera and microphone permissions when prompted.
- Arrive exactly at your scheduled time (not earlier or later).
If you can’t use the link, you can join manually:
- Open the app
- Click “Meetings” > “Join Meeting”
- Enter the Meeting ID provided in your confirmation email

- Unmute yourself by clicking the microphone icon
- Make sure your device is charged or plugged in

How do I join my scheduled Interview?
Before Your Interview
Upload your documents in the EDM/MyDocs portal:
- Right to Work documents (e.g. passport or visa
- Passport-style photo for your ID badge
You will get an email from MyDocs asking you to complete this step. Make sure all info is correct to avoid delays with your start date.

Download the Chime app
- Link: https://chime.aws/trial/
- Install on your phone, tablet, or computer at least 1 day before your interview.
Sign in with your Amazon shopping account
- Use the email you use for shopping on Amazon.com
- Don’t have one? Create one—it’s free and you won’t need to enter payment info.
Joining the call
- You’ll get a meeting link and Meeting ID by email.
- On the day, click the link to join your video call.
- Type your full name, click Join, and choose "Use my audio mic & speakers".
- You may need to click the microphone icon to unmute yourself.
Helpful Tips
- Be ready and join at your exact appointment time (not early or late).
- Make sure your device is charged or plugged in.
- Stay close to your Wi-Fi/router for the best connection.
- If you get disconnected, just rejoin the call using the same link.
